Breitbart: Tito Munoz “One of the Greatest Voices” in the Tea Party
By Shaun Kenney | Tuesday, July 12th, 2011 | Politics
That’s right — “Tito the Builder” Munoz is a great American. Recognized by other great Americans.
Great Americans… like Andrew Breitbart:
Tito, being the great guy he is, naturally had something to say about this:
“It is a great honor to be highlighted in such a way by a Tea Party leader like Andrew Breitbart – and to be mentioned with Marco Rubio is even more exciting,” said Muñoz. “We all stand for the same ideals: reduced spending, lower taxes, limited government and greater economic freedom and opportunity for all Americans. These are the principles that I will take with me to the Virginia Senate.”
It’s an honor that even some U.S. Senate candidates haven’t received, Tito!
Now everyone knows that Tito Munoz is locked in a primary contest against former RPV Chairman Jeff Frederick for the 36th State Senate District… which is gonna be awful awkward for ol’ J-Fred. Just a few days ago, it was confirmed that Ben Loyola will be running against former Democrat turned Republican Democrat Ralph Northam for the 6th State Senate District.
Anyone remember… this? When the GOP almost shifted the Virginia Senate to the Republican column through a key defection (Northam) until someone decided that loose twits sink shifts?
Ouch.
Seriously — how is Jeff Frederick seriously going to be able to serve with Ralph Northam (should he hold on) much less caucus with the Senate Republicans? More to the point, how does anyone voting in the Republican primary expect Frederick’s list of miscues and mishaps to go unnoticed by voters in the 36th? It’s a walking litany of incompetence that brought RPV to the very brink of disaster with a never-before-enacted impeachment of a Chairman.
Is Frederick really the voice the 36th wants speaking for them? Or is Tito ready to lead — just as he’s always done?
Tito Munoz is getting accolades from unexpected sources to be sure, and it’s built on a record of loyalty and trust. Something Richmond could use a whole lot more of, in my humble opinion. Congrats on the great endorsement, Tito!
(P.S. – For additional laughs, please read — and freely edit — this self-laudatory Wikipedia write-up on J-Fred.)

Love it, and you are so right! If anyone can beat a multi-year democrat incumbent in NoVA, that is Tito Muñoz!
So, is Northam really a Democrat dressed up trying to be a Republican, a Republican posing as a Democrat or is he just an empty suit? His voting record is Dem most of the time.

Tito – the new face of the Republican establishment, only more friendly to “undocumented immigrants”, and useful to George Allen for the purpose of punishing political opponents.
What a guy!
Shaun, you have no idea. Talk to Morgan Griffith about the Twitter thing, or even Anita Kumar. No credible Richmond-based news organization reported this story because it wasn’t true.
Greg, so Andrew Breitbart supports illegal aliens now? Is that what JFred is peddaling now? Get a life and just admit you don’t like brown people.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Tito Munoz is “One of the Greatest Voices” in the Tea Party.
Such that it is.
As a Republican voting in the 36th who has never missed a primary, convention or general election; I have to say neither of them appear to be making much of an effort right now. We are what 6-7 weeks out from the primary and all I’ve seen or heard are the announcement press releases and one mailer from Frederick. Either one of them would be an improvement over Puller but they need to seriously step up their efforts or whoever gets the nomination will be nothing more than a sacrificial lamb.
I’ve received 4 mailers from Frederick and he knocked on my door. I don’t know what Munoz has done, but I think the fundraising reports released tomorrow may shed a light.
Two loons fighting to beat a Puller in Quantico. Semper Ridiculous.
Greg, like BR said, just admit it, you hate people from south of the border regardless of their immigration status.
hey…br…buzz off…greg always nice to me!
