Crimes Against Spelling Conventions: EVANS STRIKES AGAIN!!!
By Shaun Kenney | Monday, June 20th, 2011 | PoliticsI cannot get enough of this Russ Potts Jeff Evans spelling bee. Someone on his staff just needs to build their own dictionary… because this planet is simply not one on which I reside.
Today’s mishap? Indpendent. In the header of the e-mail…
Evans Announces Indpendent Run
Just in case you’re wondering how to use this neologism..
indpendent [ind-pen-duh
nt] (v.) immanent, impending, coming shortly.
“Bill Stanley and Roscoe Reynolds is about to meet their indpendent DOOM!”
I mean — QED, right? More excuses coming from the release:
I intend to run a strong race as the people’s candidate and we shall leave it up to the voters to decide whether they want a party chosen outsider who is funded with Richmond money, more of the same by reelecting our current Senator, or myself – a candidate from humble roots who will simply take the voice of my neighbors and district to Richmond and work with all diligence to make a difference for our area and families by cutting spending, creating jobs, and fighting for family values.
I’m sorry — “leave it up to the voters to decide?”
Pro-Tip: If you really believed that, you’d have run in the indpendent primary, feller… don’t tell your future constituents they’re too stupid to think for themselves without an “endorcement” then expect their support later. We’re smarter than that.

In related news, Bill Stanley just got the “endorcement” of Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling. This goes along with his previous “endorcement” from the governor.
Ah endorcements don’t matter in General Assembly races.
Especially if you weren’t going to get any.
Bolling’s endorcement was indpendent anyhow.
Bill will win and help us take back the Senate and we’ll have a comprehensive education package passed to not let people campaign with such bad spelling.
Maybe they should look up “Nurenburg American Independent High School”. http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&safe=off&authuser=0&source=hp&q=Nurenburg+American+Independent+High+School&pbx=1&oq=Nurenburg+American+Independent+High+School&aq=f&aqi=&aql=undefined&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=3605l5349l1l2l2l0l0l0l0l219l435l2-2l2&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=1d754a463fd14e5c&biw=1010&bih=603
