Nardo is House Clerk-elect

Longtime Republican strategist and House Speaker Bill Howell’s chief of staff will be the next clerk of the Virginia House of Delegates.

Nardo is expected to begin duties on Wednesday, following the 30 days mourning for Bruce Jamerson.

    I don’t have anything against Nardo, but I wish the Republicans had taken someone with experience in the clerk’s office, one of the assistant clerks. Nardo’s career has been as a partisan.
