“I’m not running for president….     I am not planning on running for president.”

-Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) on “Meet the Press” this morning, surprising no one.

Ryan is where he needs to be. It’s just a matter of putting more conservatives in Washington to help.

Ryan is to be where he is in the House as LaDainian Tomlinson is to be a running back. Don’t make him a quarterback. He’s doing a fabulous job at ribbing Obama.

I appreciate Ryan’s intellect and political courage. However I do question his political judgment although not as much as Boehner. It was ok for Ryan to put out a budget plan. He then should have taken it around the country getting input and revising accordingly. Instead Boehner takes the plan and forces a vote on it with Reps who I bet don’t understand a word of it. For the few that do understand then 9 of 10 can’t explain it. Has this movie been shown before?
