Kenney to not seek State Senate nod in the 22nd
By JR Hoeft | Thursday, May 19th, 2011 | PoliticsShaun Kenney, Vice Chairman of the Fluvanna Board of Supervisors and Bearing Drift contributor has set the record straight that he will not be seeking the Republican nomination for the state senate seat in the 22nd district.
Citing a commitment to his family and current elected office, Kenney made clear that he is not entering the race now because he does not wish to divide the conservative vote.
But he also sounded this word of caution to other candidates in an email to friends and supporters:
“I have not made any decision on an endorsement at this time, and will not do so until I am convinced we have a serious pro-life, pro-family conservative that is willing to be absolutely fearless on our values down in Richmond.”

Here Here, Shaun. I know you will look at what the candidate believed BEFORE the campaign.
I fear some have had a ‘campaign conversion’ which are never carried into how they legislate.
