Morning Shocker: Obama and Kaine Both Running
By | Monday, April 4th, 2011 | Politics

According to the RTD, President Barack Obama announced his re-election bid in an e-mail web video this morning. Sure hope my spam filter is running.

Best comment I’ve heard thus far: So *another* inexperienced lightweight throws in for POTUS?

But hoping to ride on his coattails, CNN says that Tim Kaine will announce his intention to run for Senate in the next two weeks.

On the GOP side, the field for both spots remain crowded. Here’s hoping the Republicans can get their act together and nominate the most viable candidate for both slots.

This reminds me of a movie Dumb and Dumber.

This is good news for George Allen. Better to run against Kaine. I don’t think noose @ the office, racial slur uttering, Confederate Flag having, Macaca George Allen would want to tell his donors that he would end up facing Bobby Scott. It would have been an interesting debate, though.
