On the air with Rep. Bob Goodlatte and Paul Goldman
By | Wednesday, March 30th, 2011 | Policy, Politics

On this episode of The Score radio show, we talk with Sixth District congressman Bob Goodlatte about his effort to get a balanced budget amendment through Congress and with Democratic strategist Paul Goldman about the nascent Senate race.

For those who prefer write-ups of interviews, here’s the red meat from our talk with Goodlatte…it would seem that while chances are favorable for a BBA to get through the House, the Senate is a likely non-starter, and that’s a big change from the 1990s, when similar BBA efforts came within a whisker of approval.

On the Goldman interview…well, let’s just say he makes news, particularly where Bob McDonnell’s vice presidential chances are concerned.

“The Score” airs live in Richmond on WLEE, in Lynchburg on WLNI and on WMBG in Williamsburg.
