Final Logo Vote: Lighthouse or Sailing Ship?

Thank you very much to all who submitted entries into our logo contest.

Now it’s up to you, the Bearing Drift reader, to help us make the final selection.

The final vote is between a lighthouse on the shore, which hearkens back to BD’s roots with the Cape Henry Lighthouses. It also incorporates a bearing circle. The alternative is a Jamestown-like sailing ship, where the sails themselves form a B and D.

After the vote closes on Monday, the committee will take your vote into serious consideration and announce the ultimate winner who will receive $250 and the project.

    The only question I have about the Lighthouse logo – are we changing our slogan to “Virginia’s Conservative Voice?”

    @Georgie – probably. However, the podcast will remain being called “Virginia Politics On Demand” and will also be hosted at http://www.virginiapoliticsondemand.com
