VPOD 110: Dr. Patrick Moore – a Greenpeace dropout
By JR Hoeft | Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 | Podcasts, PolicyShow notes:
Dr. Patrick Moore, author of “Confessions of Greenpeace Dropout: The making of a sensible environmentalist”, talks about his book, the importance of uranium mining given the need for nuclear reactor fuel, genetic engineering, and the rabid radicalization of the environmental movement away from science and towards politics.
Dr. Moore is the co-founder of Greenpeace and spent much of his life in the envrionmental movement. He was in Richmond recently testifying (see the attached YouTube video) in front of the National Academy of Sciences to advocate mining at the Coles Hill uranium deposit.
