Conserving the bay – Conservatively
By | Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 | Columns

My column in today’s Daily Press talks about recent actions led by conservatives that will have an actual positive impact on Chesapeake Bay clean-up vice policies that have been letting money float away with the tide.

“Conservation is not about sloganeering and knee-jerk choices to “Save the bay.” And it is certainly not about continuing inefficient and toothless policies from well-meaning but illogical environmentalists. It is about leadership and proactive steps to restore and preserve the bay for this generation and generations to come.”

Check out the entire column.
