Special election in the 91st set
By | Tuesday, January 4th, 2011 | Politics

Governor Bob McDonnell has called Mar. 8 for the special election to fill the seat of retiring Del. Tom Gear (R-91)…just in time to come back for the veto session and any other TBD special sessions, but will totally miss the “short session.”

Not to mention I think they’re doing this for the honor of running again in November. Ouch.

Already announced for the GOP include Hampton City Councilman Chris Stuart and York County Republican Chad Green. Not yet announced (as far as I know), but supported by Gear, is Teresa Schmidt, also of Hampton. And that’s just the GOP.

Hey, Dems…let’s get movin’. Who’s runnin’?
