VPOD 104: Bill Bolling, Ken Cuccinelli and a new contributor!
By | Tuesday, December 14th, 2010 | Podcasts

Show notes:
J.R. interviews Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling to discuss how he is fitting into the new administration, using government to generate business incentives and create jobs, his reaction to the Obama administration’s decision on offshore drilling, and what Republicans need to do to get a majority in the state senate in 2011.

Federal District Judge Henry Hudson ruled that the government does not have the right to mandate the purchase of health insurance. We have reaction from Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.

New Bearing Drift contributor Eve Gleason joins J.R. to talk about the ruling and the attorney general’s theories on the Voting Rights Act and federalism, the return of Brian Moran as chairman of the Democratic Party of Virginia, and the governor’s budget amendments, which includes spending more government money in an effort to create jobs.

All this and more on this episode of Virginia Politics On Demand.
