Separated at Birth?

(l) New “Big Ten” logo, (r) New DNC logo.
So, the Big (but, not really) Ten conference has a new logo. I saw it earlier today and thought it looked familiar. Then I remembered Tim Kaine’s big announcement in September which did almost as much for the Democrats chances as Barack Obama’s visit did for Tom Perriello.
But seriously, powder puff blue and big, block letters? Just how much did you guys pay for these designs?
And, more importantly, how do I get the next design job?

Surprised there is some hint of there being 12 teams like the hidden “11″ in the old logo. Or maybe I need to study it more.
That’s a design for pansies. Personally, you need some red and black in the logo and something more eye appealing.
When will republicans stop letting the big media talking heads decide whose colors are whose?
GOP Blue was the color for decades then when the socialists wanted to use reverse psychology and banish their commie red association, the big media heads made it happen.. This was no accident. Tim Russert pulled this stunt in 96 and it backfired but in 2000 he piped up early and the media followed him like he was the pied piper and the gop barely put up a fuss. For centuries, democracies associated blue with conservatives and red with socialists and or democrats. Throughout europe, red is associated with left leaning politics. Blue was the party of Lincoln.
Kind of weird that you keep calling a conference with 12 teams the Big Ten, but I guess they’ve had 11 for a few years without changing it. It’s a crap logo though.
Totally agree with Turbo on the media leading the Republicans on a leash and picking out their color for them. 100% agree!
Blue especially darker blues are conservative colors. So inappropriate for the Democrat party that they had to change to a sky or baby blue.
I’m just wondering when the GOP will start to be able to respect themselves in the morning.
