Bearing Drift magazine to be in print!
By Bearing Drift | Thursday, December 2nd, 2010 | MagazineSome articles just don’t belong on a blog.
At least, that’s what we thought when we conceived the idea of a monthly electronic magazine on Virginia politics.
Some subject material requires more detail, quotes, expert analysis, and imagery than what can be provided in a standard blog post.
Over the past year, the magazine has had in-depth and exclusive interviews with Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell and former Gov. George Allen; had original guest articles by Rep. Pete Sessions and Rep. Eric Cantor; received expert analysis from political scientists Dr. Bob Holsworth and Dr. Quentin Kidd on elections; and provided the insightful conservative commentary that you’ve grown to expect from the Bearing Drift team.
After having a great first year and eight electronic issues under our belt, it’s time for us to take that next step: We’re going to print!
Did I mention the first issue is free?

Note: we have not determined if there will be a subscription rate for future issues. There may not be. We’d like to keep delivering each issue for free. But, if there is, it will most likely be modest (around $10) and last for one year (10 issues). We are not asking anyone to commit to that at this time. Also – under no circumstance will your information be shared.
Start receiving the print issue next month
After you have subscribed (or updated your current information, if you are already an email subscriber), we will be able to send you our complimentary inaugural print issue. Our writers are diligently working on articles regarding reforming healthcare in Virginia, setting the scene for redistricting, previewing the upcoming General Assembly session, and many more surprises.
Don’t delay! We must have our mailing list complete by Christmas.
Enjoy your new monthly Virginia conservative magazine!

This could be enjoyable and I’m not being sarcastic either.
