Karl Rove in Virginia Beach
By | Sunday, November 7th, 2010 | Policy

Karl Rove, the architect of George W. Bush’s two Presidential victories, is coming to the Sandler Center in Virginia Beach Wednesday evening, November 17th.

Rove attracts a lot of attention wherever he speaks, and Virginia Beach is no exception. Democrat protesters greeted him a few years back when he headlined a fundraiser.

This time, Rove is the featured speaker for the Virginia Beach Forum. His book, “Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight” will be on sale in the lobby of the Sandler with a book signing after the speech. Tickets are still available for this event; contact the Sandler at: 757-385-ARTS

I ain’t missing it!

About the author

Brian Kirwin

The right wants to jeer him. The left wants to censor him. Moderates usually want both. Brian Kirwin is a political consultant and public relations strategist in Virginia Beach with a lightning-rod flair. Brian also serves on the VB Arts & Humanities Commission and frequently appears on Hampton Roads theatrical stages, if only to prove that all actors aren’t liberals. Kirwin’s columns stir up debate and hit the political scene with no punches pulled.

You have to get tickets by phone? What are they, stuck in 1980?
