VPOD 98: Republicans and the Tea Party, Ball’s obsession, Nye’s perception, and a Hurt/Perriello debate preview

Shaun Kenney joins me this week to talk Tea Party!
Specifically, we talk about Ken Cuccinelli’s “Rock Star” status at the Virginia Tea Party and what it means to guys like George Allen, Bob Marshall, Corey Stewart, Mark Obenshain, and Bill Bolling.
We also look at the Congressional elections. Specfically, we talk about Krystal Ball’s affinity for big, red objects and why she just wants the story to keep, er, growing? We also talk about Glenn Nye’s interesting approach to dealing with people he supposedly keeps “at arm’s length”.
Finally, we do a little forward thinking about this week’s 5th district debate, which you can catch live Wednesday on WSLS.com at 6 p.m.
