About the author

Ward Smythe

Ward Smythe is a pseudonymous aspiring freelance writer from Central Virginia. Until late 2007 Ward blogged at the now defunct "Ward View" and was active in Virginia and national politics. Ward's signature style of snarkery gained him a unique following that he hopes to regain here at Bearing Drift. Ward uses humor, satire and sometimes photoshop to make his point. Ward is proud to be an equal opportunity offender.

Fantastic! We all need to agree that this is just the right thing to do for Gerry.

The folks behind this will be revealed at the close of the fourth and final video in the series. I can say that I did the camera and production work, however.

This is great! Can’t wait for the next episodes and the inevitable conclusion on Election Day. Is there some way you could work the “Sons of Anarchy” into the “intervention” piece of the conclusion?

Nah, think more classic. Think “Reservoir Dogs.”

I think you’re going to like it.

But, according to Gerry, he is a fiscal conservative and an independent. Oh, denial is one of the symptoms of addiction? Well, it appears then that he does have a problem, doesn’t he?

    (Great send up; RAOTFLMAO.)
