Strictly from a professional, tech analysis, what do you think of the new site?
Certainly don’t go there for the content!

Technically, it’s not bad.
They may want to reconsider the rotating images on the sides. The first one I saw was Arlington Cemetary, when I refreshed the one on the other side was a plane flying over Reagan National, but at first glance it looked like the Pentagon.
Maybe that’s overly critical/sensitive, but that’s what caught my eye.
Wait…they didn’t incorporate the DNC’s new logo? Maybe a “VD” inside a circle would be enough to energize the Democrat base and drag Nye and Perriello across the finish line.
Looks great to me. I wish RPV’s looked a little more old school Virginia elegant. But that’s what we get for a Jeff Frederick special.
The eye should be red like the weird, blue demon mustang horse statue on display as you approach the Denver International Airport. The demon horse was 12 years late, $350,000 over budget and killed its artist/creator.
It looks like the “demon donkey” isn’t far behind…
Demon Donkey?
OK how this riposte?
Demon Donkeys spread less fecal matter then Evil Elephants. After the parade is done where is more clean up required?
LD, a much appreciated first hand, up close and authoritative fecal production report on pachyderms vs. Equus asinus. We’ll be looking forward to your next “view from the rear” and make sure to scrape off the bottoms of your shoes before you visit Nye’s headquarters… or maybe not.
Clean, easy to navigate with critical information on or directly linked from the home page. Some room for improvement but I am not going to give them suggestions. Over all I would give it a B or B+ on purely technical merit.
From a technical perspective, it’s quite good. I was looking at the header and thinking that it looked similar to the way the Virginia.gov homepage looked under Kaine. Not sure if I’m right about that though.
i won’t have time to look at it for 29 days. And after we send Robert Hurt to Congress, I will get to giggle at it at my leisure.
