“Write”-ous indignation
By JR Hoeft | Friday, September 24th, 2010 | Catch-AllFrom the editorial page of Virginian-Pilot, lamenting the downfall of the Queen’s English and proper grammar:
“As a people, American’s probably right (emp. added) more then they ever have – emails, texts, tweets, posts are the stuff of electronic life. But we – OMG! – probably punctuate less, and certainly less correctly.”
We also, apparently, have homonym issues too! Even on the esteemed pages of the main stream media, where perfect grammar and prose reign supreme.

Sorry I can’t join you in that sentiment Brian, but journalists are only allowed three exclamation points in their entire careers and I’m pretty sure I’ve already used mine. I’ve got colons left though

Only because you asked Kelley
