Defundit.org Celebrates Six-Month Anniversary of Obamacare
By Jason Johnson | Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010 | PolicyIt has been six months since the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act became law (feel healthier?), yet instead of the better quality and lower cost of health care that we were promised at the time, the administration is back-peddling on those earlier promises and making excuses for why they have not materialized. (Not to mention the political benefits that were supposed to accrue to the Democratic Party that have not quite materialized.)
Charlottesville-based defundit.org is commemorating the six-month anniversary of this landmark legislation by sending an anniversary card to President Obama and invites opponents of Obamacare to sign the card, too. Best line of the card: a reminder that Snooki now has to pay more for her tan to pay for health care reform.
