Boucher tries to ban Griffith TV Ad (Boucher letter to WKPT included)
By Alan Moore | Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010 | PoliticsSo now Rick Boucher (D-9th) is actively trying to get his opponent, Morgan Griffith’s television ads pulled. Interesting tactic but this is probably going to backfire now that his attempt is in the open. Read for yourself:
In response to this letter Morgan Griffith made the following statement:
“Congressman Boucher’s record speaks for itself,” says Republican challenger Morgan Griffith. “It shows he votes 96.4 percent of the time with Nancy Pelosi and his Democratic leadership during the current Congress.”
They also included these links in their press release:
Boucher voting record: http://projects. washingtonpost.com/congress/ members/b000657/
Pelosi voting record: http://projects. washingtonpost.com/congress/ members/p000197/
Here is the ad that Boucher objected to:
***UPDATE: Boucher responds with his own commercial:

Wow. Democrats can’t run from their record fast enough this cycle.
Wow. For Boucher to respond to this third party ad shows he is getting desperate. Can’t run from the Pelosi crowd fast enough.
Actually, it looks like it worked. Roll Call is reporting that the station has pulled the ads.
Uhh, just an observation, isn’t it possible those republicans voted with Nancy 50% percent of the time(if what he said is true, and she never votes, then they could have voted with her on the big things I would guess she did vote on, stimulus, TARP)? Ipso facto, Boucher could go both ways(politically speaking).
