I saw the article you referred to and that really stuck out to me as well. When a national news outlet singles you out as avoiding constituents, that is definitely a sign of trouble!!

I guess the Nye Campaign is trying to make it appear that the Congressman regularly sits down and talks with concerned voters-which couldn’t be further from the truth. Scott Rigell has been hosting town hall meetings throughout the District which are open to the public. Congressman Nye has even been invited to a few of them. When a candidate is making a greater effort to hear from voters than the sitting Congressman, it’s time for those voters to strongly consider a change in leadership. Maybe Rep. Nye is afraid voters will ask him about his votes for Pelosi to be Speaker and the stimulus if he actually makes an effort to speak with them.

On 11/03/2010 when the democrats decide to feed Tim Kaine to the hungry tiburones, I think that Tom Perriello might make an excellent replacement.

A vote for Golden is a vote to ignore Cantor or any party honcho since the people who vote are the only bosses that matter.

The fact that all candidates took that oath and were true to the United States is what matters. The rest is politics.

Seems to me Glenn was not just one of those members who flew in and flew out of the combat zones, he stayed put.

Perhaps Kenny’s service holds up in comparison, but Rigell’s? Scott’s service was in the used car lot and the new car showroom. While service in the used car lot might qualify as combat, just who should be praised for service, the salesman or the customer?

Removing Nye to remove Pelosi must be JOB #1, not attacking individual character which is a motivator for emotional dems. Nye’s ads strategy is firing blanks right now.. they will have to distance him from mrs speaker in the coming weeks and after that the live rounds of poo will fly.
