BREAKING: Unidentified White Powder Mailed to Robert Hurt’s Office

Roanoke CBS affiliate WDBJ-7 is breaking a story that state Sen. Robert Hurt opened an envelope containing an as-yet unidentified white powder that had been mailed to his Chatham office on Friday. Fortunately, both Sen. Hurt and his staff are safe. His Democratic opponent, Rep. Tom Perriello, has issued a statement condemning the incident. Additional information can be found here.
