Birthday Money Bomb For Robert Hurt
By Jason Kenney | Wednesday, June 16th, 2010 | PoliticsWhen Robert Hurt won the Republican nomination in last Tuesday’s primary in Virginia’s 5th District he won the honor of having to go toe to toe with Tom Perriello, not only considered to be one of the most vulnerable freshman Representatives in the nation but one with a warchest of over $2 million.
I thought it’d be nice to bring that up today because, hey, it’s Sen. Hurt’s birthday. Happy Birthday, Sen. Hurt. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Even 2 million small stuffs.
But since it’s his birthday, maybe you can help with a money bomb. Today would be a great day to donate to Robert Hurt for Congress.
Any amount would help. Your contribution of $50 or just $5 will say, “Hey, Robert, let’s beat Tom Perriello and send that Obama/Pelosi/Socialist/Freedom Hating/Pancake Loathing Cabal in Washington a message!” Or it’ll help buy yard signs.
Or take the Rick Sincere Challenge and contribute $17.76 to Hurt for Congress, showing your adoration for the musical that originally hit Broadway the same year Robert Hurt was born.
But, please, dig deep and help Robert Hurt because beating Tom Perriello won’t be easy. Perriello is sitting on $2 million and Democratic organizations across the nations are looking to pour millions more into this race to not only secure Perriello’s victory in 2010 but then redistrict him into that seat for the next 10 years. Not only that, but a potential 3rd party challenge to Hurt makes this race all that much harder to pick up and every dollar even more valuable between now and November.
Won’t you please contribute $5, $17.76, $41 or whatever you can give to Robert Hurt for Congress? And tell your friends, your family, your apple pie and freedom loving mother, your co-workers, that guy down the street you borrowed a rake from last fall but never returned. Here’s your chance to give it back and help Robert Hurt in the process.
But act now! It’s only Sen. Hurt’s birthday until 11:59 tonight and it won’t come around again until next year when he’s a sitting Congressman in the US House Of Representatives! And all thanks to your help TODAY!
Let’s put a hurt on Washington! Let’s send Hurt to Washington! Let’s send Hurt $10!

good idea Bearing Drift. Scott Brown raised a tremendous amt of money for his Massachusetts Senate win from a money bomb (on HotAir or Ace, I think).
