However, our position will come as no surprise to regular readers given our desire to create a Virginia Heritage Day.
Bearing Drift supports Doug Mataconis’ proposal to amend this proclamation to “Virginia Civil War History Month“, which would recognize the central role Virginia played during this period of time in our national history and encourage folks to participate in the Virginia Civil War Sesquicentennial Commemoration.
