By JR Hoeft | Wednesday, April 7th, 2010 | UncategorizedIssue two of Bearing Drift’s online magazine will be released on Friday. Included in this issue is an interview with Secretary of Natural Resources Doug Domenech, a guest column by Speaker of the House William Howell, legislator profile of Del. Chris Stolle, Dr. Bob Holsworth’s monthly column, and articles on a Constitutional Convention, the Tea Party in the 5th District, the impact of the state’s budget cuts on Bedford County Public Schools, and our take on “Confederate History Month.”
We’ll also have a new feature “Yeas” and “Nays” which, in this column, looks at the best and worst actions of the 2010 General Assembly Session. Do we have to sign up for each issue or did subscribing to the last one just allow us to receive issues as they are released?
Sign up once and you’re golden for all future issues.
That Nancy Pelosi image in To Catch a Thief is particularly scary.
Loved the ezine. I am all for a Constitutional convention, but I would prefer a Bill of Federalism, such as proposed by Randy Barnett. I would also repeal the 16th and 17th amendments. I know I’m a nutcase. My concern is that Congress would try to say that some or all of them would have to be involved, which would ruin it.
