Virginia distributes $23 million from the feds on energy
By | Thursday, March 25th, 2010 | Policy

While we were all getting spun up over healthcare, among other issues, Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling announced $13 million is being distributed to localities for 39 energy conservation innovation projects and $10 million in rebates “to help home owners and small businesses reduce their energy costs and harness energy from the wind and the sun” from the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

I guess I should be happy that Virginia is getting its fair share of stimulus money and for renewable energy?

Yay.

You would be happy if you would just drink the kool-aid! I am not happy about it, just like I am not happy with our tax code which is used to influence behavior and votes. However, I take advantage of the tax code and may be inclined to take advantage of this too. Better I use the money than the Feds. Maybe that makes me a hypocrit? Maybe that just means I make the best of a bad situation.
