Congrats to Charles Young!
By JR Hoeft | Wednesday, March 24th, 2010 | PoliticsCharles Young, whom some of you have met through Blogs United, was recently elected as chairman of the Newport News Republican City Committee!
Congrats to Young, I guess.
Now he gets to worry about things like…Rep. Bobby Scott (3), Sen. Jim Miller (1), Sen. Mamie Locke (2), Del. Robin Abbott (93), and Del. Mamye BaCote (95), among other local city officials.
Of course, he’s supported by Sen. Tommy Norment (3) and Del. Glenn Oder (94)…so it isn’t all that bad!
While Newport News is certainly known for the shipyard, it also has nestled away the Mariners Museum, Christopher Newport University, Huntington Park, Newport News City Park, among others.
Good luck, Charles!
