WB - that might be the case but members are posting pictures of tally boards and stacks of emails divided by support and oppose the bill ... you get one guess which side is winning.

William, I bet Nancy did laugh, or just grimace and flippantly utter a "pfft!". It is that kind of arrogance we've come to expect.

"I’d bet House Speaker Nancy Pelosi laughed at the letter"- W. Bailey
                                &
"If you think politics is a laughing matter you are part of the problem. " - W. Bailey

William, even though you contradict yourself, sorta. You are so right.
Laughing Nancy Pelosi IS part of the problem!!!!

"It is supposed to be about the American people not about your party, your next election or who is laughing " W. Bailey

Correct again. So why aren't the Democrats taking that to heart. Why do they ignore the people of America that by majority think this thing stinks in a big way?

I also agree with you that this isn't a game. This is a real danger to our economy and freedom. The ones that are playing games are the ones using "deem to pass" rules to avoid taking a PUBLIC stance for something that obviously the people they are alleged to represent DON'T want. They're too afraid of losing their seats after stabbing their constituents in the back in the name of "saving face", and transforming the US into some socialistic utopia.

If I were interested in playing games, I wouldn't spend my time here on BD. You were the one to bring up Nancy Pelosi laughing at the Virginian Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli. Not me.

You folks just do not understand it isn't a game... It is: Real lives and real issues hurting real people.

BTW:I expect the health care issue will pass and we can move on to the next important issue facing America. And you can continue to play games...

WB, Pelosi and Obama will be laughing until next election cycle. On that day, we will laugh at them. Let's hope their legacy will not leave our nation in mourning for years to come.

It's interesting to me when I watched the President's first State of the Union address he said his focus would be jobs. Of course he knew Bob McDonnell would be following his address with his focus on jobs and perhaps Obama wanted to look like a President more in line with the American people like Bob. It didn't take him or Pelosi to get right back to pushing this atrocity onto the American people, completely forgetting his State of the Union address.

We all want Health Care Reform, we all want affordable health care. Just not like this.

I'd bet House Speaker Nancy Pelosi laughed at the letter if she ever saw it and went "Who is this guy?" Just like the birthers make news so does stuff like this...

The problem for many of you is that you believe you are the only ones contacting Congress while many of us who support the health care bill are contacting them daily.

I thought all day yesterday how unconstitutional it is for our Democratic leadership to "deem passed" this Health Care Reform bill that is loaded with special interests giveaways. To find a way around the House voting for such a far reaching measure that will require $1 for every $5 dollars of our Federal budget and will bankrupt our nation in no time is absolutely unconstitutional.

For our elected officials being called in one by one to the White House to be pressured to vote yes speaks volumes. Our elected officials represent the people who voted for them, not the White House.

Everyone responsible for this shenanigan will be surprised how Cuccinelli and McDonnell will be a team fighting for our Constitution of the United States. Everyone who knows them won't be.

Fantastic! I'm glad Virginia's political leadership is standing up against what would surely an illegal action. Makes me happy I donated to Ken's campaign after attending one of Mrs Nunally's fundraisers for him.

Cuccinelli is taking this to a whole new level, and it's awesome to watch.

In fact, you'll get two chances today: the AG will be on during the 11AM hour of MSNBC and again during the 10PM hour Fox News.

Hopefully they'll get YouTube clips. Rest assured, we'll have it posted to BD.

If attacking Ken Cuccinelli is a tactic of distraction, his bringing the "distraction" back to Pelosi-care in this fashion is just pure artistry. The Dems picked the wrong guy to mess with.

Agreed its his head first aggressiveness that makes you love him and makes you want to go nuts too sometimes. Its a two edged sword. I disagreed with the way he walked through the "birther" legal argument and his initial tactics on the sexual orientation stuff were questionable. His defense of the letter he sent out was great but the goal is to stay out of trouble in the first place. I have to say though Ken is good people and has a good heart for someone who's been through the "game" for as long as he has. Lots of people run for office and forget who they were and their own values. Ken is NOT one of those people. Even if you may not agree with him you have to respect him for that. If Ken Cuccinelli isn't one of the most genuine people in Virginia politics I don't know who is.

I have to say this - the guy has hutzpa. They have hit him all week on stupid garbage and most politicians would have headed for hiding, but not Cooch. He jumps right into the teeth of things - I love this guy. Oh, and Lee I agree with you!
