Krystal Ball using a two-year-old to fundraise?
By JR Hoeft | Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010 | PoliticsIf you have been following Virginia politics, you know that one of the biggest reasons Krystal Ball is running for the Democratic nomination in the 1st District is because of her daughter. Ms. Ball does not hesitate to tell you that.
However, Ball sent an interesting email today requesting a donation of $2, $22, or $222 to her campaign to celebrate her daughters second birthday.
Now, I’ve seen this done with the candidate’s or even the candidate’s spouse’s birthday before…but is using the child a bit over the top?

She is certainly milking this kid thing for all she can. I wonder if donors knew that she spent $26,000 of their money on tickets to a puppet show in New York City if they would continue to give her money? Check out her recent campaign finance report. She is just another limousine liberal.
Is it over the top of course it is…but really…What else does she got? This is a train wreck that I can’t wait to watch.
Well, at least the kid isn’t a retard. It would have been just too Palinesque if Ball was parading around with a little mongo.
C’mon guys. It will appear over the top to us. We want her to lose. We want to gag at her pimpin’ out her child. However, if some of her supporters get all “awww…cute” and send her a few bucks, good for her. Do we expect politicians not to go to extremes to raise cash?
As for you Paul, you can make fun of Sarah Palin without being a total ass! You know….. people out there of all political persuasions have children with challenges. You don’t insult just Palin with insensitive comments like that. You offend many others that might even be your political allies.
Could you please just stick with the “how stupid she is” jokes? What did her child do to you anyway?

Oddly enough, I was thinking about this for my two kids….
She’s a Democrat running in the 1st CD. It doesn’t matter how much money she raises or how she raises it, she’s got no shot.
