Boucher reconsidering running?
By | Wednesday, January 20th, 2010 | Politics

He was out. Then he was in. Now is he out again?

According to Politico:

Rep. Rick Boucher (D-Va.) was keeping his options open Tuesday night, saying that he would not commit to running for reelection just yet.

“When I do make an announcement — and I never make them this early — no one is going to be surprised at what I have to say,” he said. “It will be later.”

Wow – if he doesn’t run – say hello to yet another ugly Republican primary in Virginia. 2nd, 5th, 9th & 11th (pretty much all corners of the Commonwealth). And we thought this was going to be a boring year.

If Boucher quit (which I don’t think he will) the 9th should sort itself out pretty quickly.
