Loyola makes a new year’s resolution
By | Friday, January 1st, 2010 | Politics

Ben Loyola, candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 2nd District, has decided to turn a new leaf and bring on a new team to run his campaign this 2010.

Loyola, who perceives himself as the more conservative alternative to Scott Rigell, recently made a major change to his campaign staff, including bringing in a new campaign manager and campaign consultant.

Are these changes the sign of a floundering campaign or a resurgent challenger?

Ben has a great story to tell. It shows his continued focus on winning and doing it right.

Bout. Time. If Loyola continued the status quo into the New Year, his campaign was dead in the water. Loyola quickly backslide from lead darkhorse candidate to just another longshot campaign. Given the lack of energy and enthusiasm behind his campaign, this was a long awaited move. Glad to see it and best of luck to Ben, he has a great opportunity now.

My impression of Loyola is that he is more aligned with core conservative values which those of us in the Tea Party movement can endorse. Given the previously management of his team and their track record, he made a wise decision.

I checked Loyola’s website and no new announcements there. Who are the new geniuses replacing the old geniuses? You’re killing us with the lack of news…

What does it matter if Loyola had something posted on his website or not?

Well, who are the new people? They’re not mentioned on the post above and they’re not on his website, so who are they?

    Hey JR

I thought you’d like to know the campaign goes well.

Ben Loyola sounds like a great candidate to me, and he needed to make a change to get his message out. The 2nd District needs someone like him. in the 5th district, we need Mike McPadden. His campaign is based upon returning to Constitutional government in this country. We have had a potential disaster forced upon us in the 5th district, but we are going to turn lemons into lemonade. WE are not going to tolerate a ridiculous situation in which the party nominee could win less than 20% of the total vote, with 80% of the vote being solidly conservative, but split 6 ways. There is a growing movement in the 5th district for a CONSERVATIVE CONVENTION to select OUR nominee who will face Robert Hurt in the primary. Please go to McPadden’s website. Check him out.
The New Right starts in the 5th District. LIBERTY WINS!~
