Unless Webb changes his mind, health care will pass
By | Saturday, December 19th, 2009 | Policy

There will be a dead-of-night cloture vote 1 a.m. Monday on health care reform. And, as of now, Democrats are counting on 60 votes – including Sen. Jim Webb’s – to pass the expansive legislation.

Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska is the guy that caved.

At this point, I say let ‘em pass it. It will make for a very good 2010 for Republicans.

However, if you hold out hope that Webb will somehow live up to his reputation of being a fighter for what’s right, AFP has set up a web site with Webb’s contact info so that you can encourage him to vote no.

I’m not wasting my time…I’ve already seen the video:

Webb may solve all of Virginia’s transportation problems in one fell swoop. If he can hold out long enough to force Harry Reid to buy his vote, then he can name his price. So you NoVa transportation experts call his office & demand to get whatever roads you want paid for ahead of time.

i hold out no hope for Webb.
