Obama’s response to polls: Duck!
By Brian Kirwin | Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 | Catch-AllAfter falling poll numbers and crushing rebukes in Virginia and New Jersey in November, President Obama, the One, the gifted, the solver of all problems, the most electrifying man in sports entertainment…..oh, that was the Rock. Sorry.
Obama has shifted his treatment of the press (see, it’s the press’ fault Obama isn’t loved anymore).
“President Obama has of late avoided questions from the White House press corps at large, closing the Oval Office to traditionally informal question-and-answer sessions with reporters and pulling back from the fast pace of news conferences he established when taking office.” (Washington Times)
Obama’s last press conference? Remember the one where Obama went off script and wound up with a beer summit?
Cap and trade? – stalled. Health Care takeover? – headed for a showdown on covering abortion. Ending the War? – Giving a speech tonight about sending more troops.
Yeah, press conferences are the problem.

One Response to "Obama’s response to polls: Duck!"
Obama’s not the only Democrat with declining poll ratings.
According to a Survey USA poll taken Nov 20-22, Mark Warner is also falling to earth with a thud:
52% approve
43% disapprove
[this is down from 60% approve, 31% disapprove in late September!]
Jim Webb continues his slow decline:
45% approve
49% disapprove
and most now disapprove of the job Tim Kaine is doing as Governor:
45% approve
51% disapprove
