Wilson is loathed among the African-American community leadership. That’s why they put their best known personality (Georgia Allen) up against her. You can’t be friends with both Wilson and the African-American community leadership.

I understand being critical of Rosemary Wilson if you were working for Geogia Allen during that council race. Not being a fan of Wilson, I voted for Allen. However, what does any of that have to do with the current campaign and your prefernce for a firing squad?

I somehow missed your criticism during that council race. Just honestly wondering how any of that would carry over to this one.

However, I figured I could count on you to take my bait. As Kirwin can confirm, I’ve been one of Rosemary Wilson’s most pointed critics during her tenure on City Council. While everything I said in my previous comment was true, you took me as somehow pro-Wilson. Given my ties to the African-American community leadership, I’d rather face a firing squad without a blindfold than campaign for Wilson. In fact, last year I was writing papers for the Council campaign of Rosemary’s principal opponent, my good friend Georgia Allen. (Gotcha!)

Max, get some professional help. Maybe you can be roommates in the psych ward with Reid Greenmun. The two of you can go to sleep at night sharing conspiracy theories.

As for 9/11, when you can explain why nano-composite thermite explosives where found in massive quanities in the dust from the explosions, then I’ll change my opinion. Odds are you are too scared to read an article in a physics journal and too stupid to understand what it all means.

As for Chris, you’ve dealt with him a couple times, I worked for 10 months on every delegate campaign in Norfolk and not only did Chris not do a thing to help the candidates (besides trying to extort money), he actively worked against us, talking bad about them to the party regulars and denying access to crucial lists. He lied to the chairwomen when he told her everything was taken care of, then I get a call from her husband at 11pm the day before election saying not a thing has been done and that hes about ready to have Woodfin and Aarons head.

However, I agree: why would anyone (let alone Rosemary) want to go before the VBTA? Wilson will never get their endorsement, so it would be a waste of time.

Finally, let me defend Chris Woodfin. I first met him when he was Campaign Manager for Nick Rerras’ reelection in 2003 (over Andy Protogyrou) and I was a volunteer for Nick. As nice a guy as you’ll meet, and I’ve dealt with him a couple times since.

Lee, I disagree with you slightly. While Max’s sanity is surely gone and we could probably amuse ourselves with an open thread in which we guess what mental disorder he has, I’m not sure I’d call him a pest. Whenever I want to give myself a good laugh, I read Max’s responses to posts on BD. I swear, Lewis Black or Dennis Miller couldn’t come up with funnier stuff.

On a serious note, I am offended when someone says that 9/11 was an inside job. Tell that to the families of the 3,000 that died. Tell that to the cops and firemen that rushed down to Ground Zero that day. 9/11 was not an inside job and other than the imaginations of the tinfoil hat brigade, there isn’t a shred of proof to be found that says it was.
