Matthew Berry to challenge Jim Moran
By | Friday, November 13th, 2009 | Politics

Virginia U.S. Rep. Jim Moran (D-8), who as recently as two weeks ago said that we needed to elect State Sen. Creigh Deeds to governor to protect us from the GOP’s “Taliban ticket”, has a challenger: Matthew Berry.

Moran, whose public service in the 111th Congress included predictably voting for the government takeover of health care, is also noted for fiercely taking on “big pharm” for their advertising.

Berry has served as a clerk for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Judge Laurence H. Silberman, and as a lawyer for the Department of Justice and the Federal Communications Commission.

Should I just award the 2010 Berry Award to him now?
