It turned out to ultimately be 11 votes in the ’97 race and, if over 100 votes is what you call a “landslide”, that was the result in ’99.

I volunteered on the Graeber campaign as an ODU College Republican and had courthouse duty during the ’99 campaign.

No. The judge was warned he was about to get slapped by the Supremes so he lifted it. Get ready for a JIRC hearing, you partisan hack judge!

Only 2 not-previously counted absentee ballots have been allowed into the count and the candidates split them one each.

8 provisionals remain, although they may not all count either, so unless something very dramatic happens, Villanueva wins.

Remember Don Williams beat Bev Graeber back in the 90′s, was it ’95 or ’97?, by only 8 votes. I don’t recall the Democrats questioning his legitimacy. I actually recall the Democrats calling Delegate Williams. The next election he won in a landslide. History will repeat itself.

Mathieson’s camp asked the judge to lift the injunction this morning, so the counting continues.
