Enthusiasm Gap in Full Effect on Thursday
By D.J. Spiker | Friday, October 23rd, 2009 | PoliticsOn Thursday, the Virginia Victory Operations reportedly made over 66,000 (not a typo) phone calls and voter contacts today. Alone.
Calling those alleged 500,000 Obama voters over the course of three weeks seems small potatoes at this point.
Great job everyone, we have to keep knocking doors, picking up phones and getting the word out. As J.R. said earlier, polls are great, but no one ever won or conceded over a poll. Keep up your momentum and efforts!

Actually, that was me. But thanks for the compliment!
True, Chris, and it was a great post. But I also did say it a couple weeks ago and Brian said it a couple months ago too.
Phil Cox, McDonnell Campaign Manager, also wrote in an email that the campaign is happy to be up, but is running like they’re 10 points behind.
Let’s just say we all agree that there is a lot more work to be done. I don’t think anyone is going to sit on their hands.
Sorry Chris, RSS feed only shows JR’s name on my phone
