Obama Gives In, Promises Deeds Token Visit, Little Help
By D.J. Spiker | Friday, October 16th, 2009 | PoliticsCreigh Deeds campaign giddily announced that despite rumors to the contrary (by rumors, I mean published reports across both sides of the aisle) that President Obama will campaign for Deeds October 27th. No details on location, time, length of visit or any other important things, just a WE GOT HIM! message from the campaign. Additionally former President Bill Clinton and Terry McAuliffe will be campaigning with Deeds in Northern Virginia in a separate visit as well.
Republicans and Independents are sure to be delighted to be able to reduce Obama’s political capital even further by ensuring a Creigh Deeds defeat.
