DisAbility Votes Puts Their Mouth Where Their Money Is
By Jason Kenney | Wednesday, October 7th, 2009 | PoliticsDisAbility Votes is a non-partisan PAC that advocates as a voice for the disabled in Virginia politics. A much needed voice if this statistic from their website is true:
Virginia ranks 47th nationally in services to people with disabilities. This is an appalling lack of respect for almost 24% of Virginia’s citizens.
Yesterday they released a press release in response to Sheila Johnson’s criticism of Creigh Deeds, “strongly” endorsing Deeds for Governor.
Thing is, they already did that August 27th with a $200 contribution to the Creigh Deeds campaign, the only contribution the PAC has ever made.
