[Updated] Kaine may have had enough of Deeds
By JR Hoeft | Friday, October 2nd, 2009 | PoliticsNot only has the DNC held back on $5 million for the Deeds campaign, it appears Gov. Kaine might be thinking about another term (despite Virginia’s term limit). From a Kaine speech today:
“Just in my term in office, we have been named the nation’s best state for business eight times….”
Eight?
Update (Oct 2)
Of course, I’m just kidding with the above, but did you see Kaine’s comments in the News Advance:
“I’m convinced this 32-year trend of, the White House goes one way, the governorship goes the other, is not just a coincidence,” Kaine said, referring to the Democratic landslide in 2008 elections.
YIKES! I wonder how Creigh feels about that?
“Chuck Todd (chief political analyst for NBC News) has said Virginia is the perfect bellwether state, and I really believe that,” Kaine said.
So, if it goes to McDonnell and the Republicans, what do you think might happen, governor?
“The average president loses 28 seats in mid-term elections,” the governor said, seeming to switch into his other role as chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
So, are we predicting a GOP victory?
“I don’t think we’ve moved this from a red state to a blue state, we’ve just moved from a red state to a completely competitive state,” Kaine said.
“I think Creigh understands that,” Kaine said. “He has the mindset of, ‘I’m the underdog, I’ve got to work harder, and work smarter.’”
Oh boy. Maybe that $5 million in DNC money just might be heading off to New Jersey.

I know I’ve had a enough of Deeds, and his nasty campaign. Not only is he running false ads against Bob, attacking his religion, but he wants to allow hunting on the Lord’s Day. Creigh Deeds is another Godless democrat who wants abortion on demand, handouts for ACORN Prostitutes and Pimps, and who knows what else. As for me and mine, we will be with our good Christian friend, Bob McDonnell.
I’m afraid that we have lost sight of the fact that this nation was founded on the principle of being ” one nation under God.” It is not outdated or not needed now. While other religions practice in this country they must realize that this is our stand. If they want to practice other religions they may but this country has but one God and should not be bending to these radical groups. Our flag, our Christian items, our ideals and our prayers are all part of our country. Anyone who does not like this should consider trying to find another country that would allow them to change their religion and policies to suit them. My comment is good luck on that! Our country gives everyone the freedom of religion-not the freedom to change us.
