1 PM WEDNESDAY: DEEDS ADVISERS TO DISCUSS STATE OF THE RACE

ALEXANDRIA – Deeds for Governor Senior Adviser Mo Elleithee and Communications Director Mike Gehrke will hold a conference call for reporters and bloggers at 1 P.M. on Wednesday to discuss the state of the race and to preview Thursday’s debate.

Please contact press@deedsforvirginia.com for call-in information.

As Brian reported the other day his simple question was ignored and refused by the Deeds’ camp.

Today, despite BearingDrift.com being ‘invited’ by the Deeds’ campaign to join in on a conference call with Deeds’ campaign advisors (see above), requests for the call-in information were ignored by the Deeds’ camp, leaving us ‘on the list’ but behind the rope.

The left frequently claims we are one-sided and negative. As a result, in their self-fulfilling prophecy, they deny access, leaving us to our side with no alternative viewpoint. Political discussion and debate requires two sides. We enjoy opposing views, debating the issues and challenging the opposition while expecting and appreciating the same in turn. Many of us count Dems among our friends and intellectual circles, enjoying the passionate discussions we have. It’s a shame that the Deeds’ camp refuses to engage alternative sources and views; and to invite us but keep us out?!

To quote Stephanie Tanner: “How Rude!”
