The Moral High Ground?
By Jason Kenney | Monday, September 14th, 2009 | PolicyFollowing Rep. Joe Wilson’s “you lie!” outburst and the Democratic response, this really has to be said:
How can Democrats say health care reform is a “moral imperative” yet deny coverage to millions of human beings (illegal immigrants) merely based on whether or not they pay into the government system?
The two don’t mesh.

Ah, but that’s the true goal, Jason. True libs eventually want healthcare for all…they just know they can’t get it yet.
Jason, I appreciate the true Christian view you are esposing, as you are correct, if we are to be a Christian nation we should do for the least of us. (Shhhhh, don’t tell Pat Robertson, Jesus was a Socialist).
That said, while I am a Christian, this is not a Christian nation nor did the founders want it to be. Thus, the only moral imperative is to take care of our own citizens and yes, we have an obligation to do so; we are one tribe, one nation – and we have a duty to take care of our own.
