Matthew James, candidate for the 80th House of Delegates race, has had a tough road since winning the Democratic Primary at the beginning of the summer on June 9th. You may remember Matthew James from J.R.’s post here which highlighted James’ mounting campaign debts after the last reporting cycle. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lee continues to impress, knocking nearly 5,000 doors herself so far. With the strength of the statewide ticket and Lee’s dedication and hard work, Republicans have a legitimate shot at winning a seat few thought would be in play this cycle.
