Attack McDonnell about “covenant Marriage”???

Better attack Tim Kaine, too.

“Lt. Gov. Tim Kaine announced yesterday a package of family-friendly proposals that include creating a voluntary “covenant marriage” option in Virginia–an issue usually championed by conservatives.” Kaine said the bill would “let couples express their lifetime commitment in a deeper way.

“Marriage is sort of the bedrock of society,” he said. “Anything you can do to make marriages stronger is a good thing.”(Fredericksburg.com)

About the author

Brian Kirwin

The right wants to jeer him. The left wants to censor him. Moderates usually want both. Brian Kirwin is a political consultant and public relations strategist in Virginia Beach with a lightning-rod flair. Brian also serves on the VB Arts & Humanities Commission and frequently appears on Hampton Roads theatrical stages, if only to prove that all actors aren’t liberals. Kirwin’s columns stir up debate and hit the political scene with no punches pulled.
