Creigh “Mondale” Deeds in trouble
By | Friday, August 21st, 2009 | Politics

I don’t know what made me laugh the most.

When he criticized Bob McDonnell for voting against tax increases. (It’s Creigh Mondale! Did Deeds’ speechwriter think that would be a cheer line? I can hear the slogan now – “Don’t vote for McDonnell. He won’t raise your taxes.” )

When he said he’d create a permanent office of efficiency in government. (Yep, here’s the office of government efficiency with its 12 directors and co-directors and countless staff working around the clock playing spider solitaire while they fight inefficiency)

When he said how he’d never cut education and then said that everything in government will start at zero rather than fight over how big the increase will be. (Since Deeds considers any redirection of General Fund dollars a “raid on education,” what would starting the Education budget at zero be called?)

When he spent most of today’s BIG speech attacking McDonnell despite the fact that Deeds voted for 98% of McDonnell’s bills submitted as Attorney General.

In fact, most of what he said was mudslinging. If this was the speech that Deeds was going to get his campaign moving again, he’s still stuck in the mud.

    Viva FOIA and emails!!!

Enough with ‘Mondale’ Deeds. You need to get crackin with a new post where you apologize to the handful of readers here and to the “libwul media” for your week-old, completely inaccurate apologista column on Del Hamilton.
    _______

“Phil must feel he will get money…..and is ensuring that he has a home to go to….if you recall, he only wanted a small part time deal.”

“Currently, my part-time salary with NNPS is around $37,000. I need at least that amount from the ODU Foundation to have a part-time salary of $75,000 per year. Of course, more than that is always appreciated.”

“By the way, I have not received a check for July as indicated in several e-mails.”

Minutes later, Blackburn e-mailed his budget officer, Charlene Wimbish: “Please make sure ODU will get check to Hamilton today without fail.”

I’d have to agree with Foobar.

Hamilton should get a fair investigation and trial in a court of law. But first: the Virginia GOP should throw him out of the club… What a bum…

Give it up…Do you any documentation to indicate the Miller made a sweet heart deal “before” getting the job in VB? Or do you have any documentation to clearly spell out she wouldn’t support funding for the Sheriff’s Office unless she got the Norfolk job?

Really she held the same job for a decade in VB and with VB Sheriff Paul’s retirement, it only makes political sense for her to move her career to Norfolk where the Democrats are stronger. It might be harder to support the “new sheriff” than it was working with Paul.

It might not smell proper but without proof, there is no Hamilton comparison. But I’ll give you credit for trying to throw anything out there to move the focus… Nice try.

Ways in which Creigh Deeds Could still win this election:

    1. Bob McDonnell gets caught smoking crack with a tranny hooker.

    2. Barack Obama saves the world from aliens between now and November.

    That’s really about it.
