Update: Riley was a little conservative in his prediction – McDonnell is up 14.

A new Public Policy Poll will be released this morning in an effort that was likely supposed to put the stops on the momentum enjoyed by Republican Bob McDonnell – trouble is, it won’t.

According to Political Wire:

Also from the new poll: Bob McDonnell (R) expands his lead over Creigh Deeds (D) in the gubernatorial race.

The July PPP poll had McDonnell ahead 49-43.

Riley is predicting 8-10 points up for McDonnell.
