Arrested illegal aliens get Obama coddle
Good news! If you’re an illegal alien and you get arrested, the Obama administration just made it tougher for you to be deported.
Janet Napolitano, Obama’s head of Homeland Security who was famous for appearing more worried about conservative Americans than Islamic terrorists, announced Friday localities under the 287 (g) program that roll back the enforcement of legal status of arrested illegal aliens.
“To address concerns that individuals may be arrested for minor offenses as a guise to initiate removal proceedings, the new agreement explains that participating local law enforcement agencies are required to pursue all criminal charges that originally caused the offender to be taken into custody.”
In essence, that means local authorities must end the practice of arresting those who are charged with some minor offenses, said a senior federal official who didn’t wished to be named. (Times)
17-year-old Alison Kunhardt and 16-year-old Tessa Tranchant were lost to their Virginia Beach family and friends after Alfredo Ramos, illegally in this country, slammed his car drunkenly into theirs after his repeated “minor” offenses resulted in no one noticing his illegal status. The genius judge actually suspended his driver’s license, and it wasn’t even a real license.
The point was repeatedly made, and agreed with by an overwhelming number of people, that illegal aliens who commit crimes – ANY CRIME – should be deported.
Obama needs to tap Napolitano on the shoulder and reverse her course.

The bottom-line is that we are a nation of laws.
Not only have “ILLEGAL” immigrants broken one law by merely entering this country, but by committing misdemeanors, they are still showing themselves to not have any respect for this country – which they never really had to begin with anyway.
We have laws for a reason, is the DHS actually stating that the law no longer matters?

Such issues as immigration reform and health care should not be left to a thrall of politicians, who many do not have the public interest at heart in these matters? Already we have seen this materialize with the original under-funding of our main enforcement–THE BORDER FENCE CONSTRUCTION and the weakening of the illegal worker identifier–E-VERIFY? As it always happens the status-quo have always have the monetary inroads in influencing our legislators, leaving the general population to be startled by a new law enacted, before they have a chance to respond. It really doesn’t matter who is the majority party, the American people remain alienated from secret wheeling and dealing. H.R. bills and amendments are passed in Washington chambers, but the real payout takes place behind closed doors.

Assembly member Paul Fong (Cupertino) would prohibit the state, local governments, and special districts in California from requiring an employer to use the federal “E-Verify” system, even when that employer is a contractor to the government. This is typical at state or federal level, no matter the monetary consequences to the US worker. Right now as I comment Homeland Security Janet Napolitano is looking for ways, to undermine the ICE raids and 287(g) the local police enforcement law as seen with Sheriff Joe Ariapo in Maricopa County, Arizona and in other states. I thought the whole idea of Homeland Security, along with our politicians when they took the oath of allegiance, was to protect us all? Even the–NO MATCH LETTER–has been compromised. Everything that really works–is CRUSHED! It’s more like they are out to protect the interests of the US Chamber of Commerce, Council of Foreign Relations, ACLU and all the open border, special interest groups, including millions of jobs for illegal immigrants into our country. I was one of the police officers that responded to the accident in Virginia Beach when Tessa and Alison were killed by Ramos. We desperatley tried to get Tessa out of the car, because she still had a faint pulse, but could not due to her being wedged in. It wasn’t until the fire department was able to extract her with their tools that we got her out. The whole time I was breathing for her trying to keep her alive, but unfortunately she passed away at the hospital. The whole time this was happening, Ramos was sitting on the curb without a scratch. When I found out he was an illegal, it rubbed me the wrong way. I stayed professional, but deep down was irrate about it. If he would have been here legally, that’s one thing, but he wasn’t and 2 beautiful girls were dead due to it, and there was nothing I could do. This scene will be with me until the day I die.
