Biden to campaign in Virginia with Deeds

Woo-hoo! Vice President Joe Biden is coming back to Virginia to campaign with Sen. Creigh Deeds. That reminds me of this moment from the 2008 campaign.

Then, of course, candidate Obama also said he’d bankrupt the coal industry:

OBAMA: “So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.” (Interview with San Francisco Gate – 01/17/08)

So, Sen. Deeds, how do you feel about coal industry? Do you stand with the administration that wants no coal plants built in America and would like to bankrupt the coal industry?
