The National Republican Congressional Committee launched this commercial for Glenn Nye’s waffling on cap and trade energy taxes, continuing on the Nye v. Nye meme.
“As insulting as the congressman’s double-talk is, we are nevertheless looking forward to a great debate between Glenn Nye and Glenn Nye – coming soon to a Waffle House near you.” – Andy Seré, NRCC spokesman
About Brian Kirwin: The right wants to jeer him. The left wants to censor him. Moderates usually want both. Brian Kirwin is a political consultant and public relations strategist in Virginia Beach with a lightning-rod flair. Brian also serves on the VB Arts & Humanities Commission and frequently appears on Hampton Roads theatrical stages, if only to prove that all actors aren’t liberals. Kirwin’s columns stir up debate and hit the political scene with no punches pulled. View author profile.

When I said the NRCC hadn’t yet taken up the issue, I also indicated “yet”. It does not surprise me that they at least have come up with a You Tube piece and made a statement. Now it can accurately said that the NRCC has taken up the issue.
By the way, the same recipient of the previously mentioned two contradicting
replies has now also received a third. This reply is much more moderate in tone and explains in some detail why Glenn voted against it. I am not certain whether the third reply was in response to the hoopla or because as a matter of course his staff tries to provide a response to every constituent communication they receive. The recipient wrote several Emails to Glenn on the same subject.
You’re the guy who latched on to something without proof.
I understand that it took you some time to finally getting around to proving it.
Now, with the proof, I am willing to accept things.
But I am going to resort to name calling just like you did. Brian Kirwin is a pretty intelligent and informed guy who is not always perfect. Now, take that!
Bearing Drift was established in 2004. The name comes from the relative motion of objects at sea. If there is no bearing drift, and the distance between you and the object is closing, there will be a collision; therefore, action must be taken.
Most navigation rules state that the best course of action with constant bearing and decreasing range is to alter one's course to starboard - the right! Therefore, most of us at Bearing Drift ascribe to this rule - if it looks like the ship-of-state is going to wreck, move right; you can't go wrong!!!
"If you want to know what's really going on in Virginia politics, read Bearing Drift. A must-visit site for Virginians interested in politics and policy. " - Gov. Bob McDonnell
“JR’s kangaroo courtroom” - Tim J
Sites like Bearing Drift have now become important players that candidates and voters can no longer ignore. - Ryan Nobles, NBC-12
"Bearing Drift has become an indispensable source in the campaign, providing not only pointed conservative-oriented analysis but extended podcast interviews analyzing the directions in which the campaigns are headed. It is a prime example of how the Republicans can counter the wide advantage Democrats have had in the new media." - Dr. Bob Holsworth

David, you’re an idiot.
It can accurately be said that the NRCC took up the issue Wednesday morning at 7:33 am when they sent out a press release about it.
Brian,
I’m an idiot?

I didn’t latch onto something without proof. You just didn’t believe me.
